<title>Abstract</title> <p>Here we present a new directed differentiation and maturation protocol to generate Bioengineered Neuronal Organoids (BENOs) comprised of complex networks of inhibitory and excitatory neurons as well as supporting glial cells (astrocytes and myelinating oligodendrocytes).</p>
