<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Hydroxysteroid 17-beta dehydrogenase 13 ( HSD17B13 ) loss-of-function gene variants are associated with decreased risk of ‘metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease’ (MASLD).
