<h4>Summary</h4> Transcription-coupled repair (TCR) removes DNA lesions from the transcribed strand of active genes. Stalling of RNA polymerase II (RNAPII) at DNA lesions initiates TCR through the recruitment of the CSB and CSA proteins.
