We have investigated the oncogenic alterations in murine lymphomas induced by in utero exposure to gamma-radiation. The expression of the myc oncogene increased in 23% of the tumors. Alterations in the expression of the ras oncogenes and in the p53 tumor suppressor gene were not characteristic. The p53 gene was mutated in a low percentage of the tumors (12%).
