BA-Han-1C rat rhabdomyosarcoma cells grow with a transformed phenotype and do not differentiate efficiently. Here, we report that these cells can be induced with pertussis toxin (PTX) to rapidly express the myogenin gene and form terminally differentiated myotubes.
