Replication Protein A (RPA) is a multisubunit, single-stranded DNA-binding protein essential for DNA metabolism in eukaryotic cells. The 32-kDa subunit of RPA is phosphorylated in a cell cycle-dependent manner becoming phosphorylated during S phase.
