Magnetizable solid phase technology was used to develop a method for the rapid purification of recombinant proteins expressed in Escherichia coli. We describe the purification of two recombinant DNA-binding proteins: the minimal DNA-binding domain of the oncoprotein Myb and full-length yeast TFIIIA.
