Ovine RNase A (O-RNase A) is a promising candidate due to its effectiveness as a toxin. It is an effective variant of bovine RNase A, with four specific mutations (A19S, K37Q, V46F, and N103E). RNase A families are inhibited by RNase inhibitors; if RNase A evades these, it can function as a toxin in immunotoxins.
