Inbred strains and subpopulations of rats, laboratory mice, and deer mice were examined for individual variation in the ability to metabolize several arylamines (p-aminobenzoic acid, sulfamethazine, aniline, alpha-naphthylamine, and aminofluorene) by N-acetylation.
