Philadelphia chromosome-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms are hematopoietic stem cell disorders characterized by dysregulated proliferation of mature myeloid blood cells. They can present as polycythemia vera, essential thrombocythemia, or myelofibrosis and are characterized by constitutive activation of JAK2 signaling.
