Bacillus subtilis PcrA interacts with the RNA polymerase and might contribute to mitigate replication-transcription conflicts (RTCs). We show that PcrA depletion lethality is partially suppressed by rnhB inactivation, but cell viability is significantly reduced by rnhC or dinG inactivation.
