Genetic factors play a key role in the pathogenesis of atrial fibrillation (AF). We would like to establish an association between previously described single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) and AF in haemodialysed patients with end-stage kidney disease (ESKD-HD) as well as to assess the cumulative effect of all genotyped SNPs on AF risk.
