Polymorphisms in leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) have been linked to familial Parkinson's disease, increased risk of sporadic Parkinson's disease, increased risk of Crohn's inflammatory bowel disease, and increased susceptibility to leprosy.
