Sorting motifs are involved in the transport of diverse proteins. In the present study, we identified a hydrophobic peptide (WRPWRNFWWSIRVPWRRN) that was able to target enhanced green fluorescent protein- or DsRed2-enriched vesicular-like sub-compartments of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER).
