Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a monoclonal myeloproliferative disorder of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs), characterized by reciprocal translocation, leading to the formation of BCR-ABL oncogene with constitutive tyrosine kinase (TK) activity.
