The formate dehydrogenase (FDH) from Candida boidinii is a well-known enzyme in biocatalysis for NADH regeneration. Nevertheless, it has low activity in a water-miscible ionic liquid (1,3-dimethylimidazolium dimethyl phosphate, [MMIm][Me2 PO4 ]).
