Sublines of the canine kidney epithelium cells (MDCK) resistant to various colchicine doses (0.3-5.0 mcg.ml-1) were obtained by multistep selection. The new lines were shown to possess multidrug-resistance (MDR) by means of Rhodamine 123 staining.
