H4IIE rat hepatoma cells were stably transfected with various phosphoenolpyruvate carboxykinase-chloramphenicol acetyltransferase (PEPCK-CAT) expression vectors. The regulation of the transfected genes was qualitatively similar to that of the endogenous PEPCK gene.
