Phosphorylation of glucocorticoid receptors is increased by hormone binding and has been implicated in transcriptional regulation. We performed a phosphoamino acid analysis and identified the phosphorylated regions of the glucocorticoid receptor with respect to its functional domains before and after hormone activation.
