PURPOSE: Detect tumor-related DNA using LigAmp in histologically clear margins and associate results with clinical outcome. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN: Patients with head and neck cancer were registered for molecular analysis of surgical margins. Adequacy of resection was ensured using histologic margin analysis.
