The frontline tuberculosis drug isoniazid (INH) inhibits InhA, the NADH-dependent fatty acid biosynthesis (FAS-II) enoyl reductase from Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), via formation of a covalent adduct with NAD(+) (the INH-NAD adduct).
