Inosine triphosphate pyrophosphohydrolase (ITPase) is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of inosine triphosphate (ITP) to inosine monophosphate and pyrophosphate. In Caucasian populations it is reported that the frequency of cases showing decreased ITPase activity is 5%.
