PURPOSE: In this study, the optimization of antitumor therapy with tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) was attempted. EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN: Using the phage display technique, we created a lysine-deficient mutant TNF-alpha (mTNF-K90R).
