In order to assess the potential role of IL-6 in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), we have compared IL-6 deficient (IL-6 ko) mice and their wild-type (wt) counterpart for the capacity to develop methylated bovine serum albumin (mBSA)-induced arthritis.
