Cytochrome P450 4F3 (CYP4F3) catalyzes the inactivation of leukotriene B(4) by omega-oxidation in human neutrophils. To understand the regulation of CYP4F3 expression, we analyzed the CYP4F3 gene and cloned a novel isoform (CYP4F3B) that is expressed in fetal and adult liver, but not in neutrophils.
