<title>Abstract</title> <p>The pathology of Parkinson's Disease (PD) arises from a deposits of oligomeric forms of alpha-synuclein (gene: SNCA, aSyn). Glycosphingolipids facilitate the formation of such oligomers and interfere with their lysosomal degradation.
