<h4>Summary</h4> Heterozygous loss-of-function (LoF) mutations in SETD1A , which encodes a subunit of histone H3 lysine 4 methyltransferase, were shown to cause a novel neurodevelopmental syndrome and increase the risk for schizophrenia.
