Liver cancer, especially HBV (Hepatitis B Virus)-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), is more common in Asian than Caucasian. Regional difference in prevalence of exogenous factors, such as HBV, partially accounts for the fact, however, endogenous factors specific to Asian might also be responsible.
