BACKGROUND: Mild Behavioral Impairment (MBI) is a neuropsychiatric syndrome describing later-life emergent apathy, mood/anxiety symptoms, impulse dyscontrol, social inappropriateness and psychosis that are not attributable to psychiatric diagnoses.
