<title>Abstract</title> <p>This study focused on a potential probiotic strain of <italic>Lactiplantibacillus pentosus</italic> (strain krglsrbmofpi2) isolated from traditional fermented rice in India. The study aimed to conduct preliminary genetic and phenotypic characterization.
