<title>Abstract</title> <p>Loss of Purkinje cells (PCs) in the cerebellum causes severe motor deficits. The peculiar lamellar structures known as “giant lamellar bodies” (GLBs) have been reported in PCs of patients with Werdnig-Hoffman disease, 13q deletion syndrome, and Krabbe’s disease.
