Dihydroorotate dehydrogenase (DHODH) is an enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of pyrimidine nucleotides. In most eukaryotes, this enzyme is bound to the inner mitochondrial membrane, where it couples the synthesis of orotate with the reduction of ubiquinone.
