<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Eukaryotes have distinct nuclear genes for tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase (TrpRS). Human mitochondrial (H mt ) TrpRS (also WARS2) shares only 14% sequence identity with human cytoplasmic (H c )TrpRS, but 41% with Bacillus stearothermophilus (Bs)TrpRS.
