<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> HOTAIR is a long noncoding RNA transcribed between HOXC11 and HOXC12 in mammals. The proposed function(s) of HOTAIR lacks consensus as to whether it regulates HoxD cluster genes in trans or HoxC cluster genes in cis .
