<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> <h4>Background</h4> Medin is one of the most common amyloidogenic proteins and accumulates in the vasculature with aging. Vascular medin accumulation is associated with Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia and aortic aneurysms.
