Hereditary leiomyomatosis and renal cell carcinoma (HLRCC) is a cancer predisposition syndrome driven by mutation of the tumor suppressor fumarate hydratase ( FH ). Inactivation of FH causes accumulation of the electrophilic oncometabolite fumarate.
