Oxaliplatin-induced peripheral neuropathy (OIPN) is an adverse side effect of this chemotherapy used for gastrointestinal cancers. The continuous pain experienced by OIPN patients often result in the reduction or discontinuation of chemotherapy, thereby affecting patient survival.
