In previous experiments we analyzed the mutant frequency (MF) and mutational types in various organs of lacI transgenic mice which were fed a diet containing 300 p.p.m. 2-amino-3,4-dimethylimidazo[4,5-f]quinoline (MeIQ), a food-borne mutagen/carcinogen.
