We have isolated a novel cDNA that encodes a product showing significant sequence homology (56% identity) to human NIP3, a protein thought to interact with adenovirus E1B19kD and human BCL2 proteins. This cDNA contains an open reading frame of 657 nucleotides encoding a 219 amino acid polypeptide.
