Classical cytotoxic treatment of rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) is accompanied often by significant morbidity and poor response. The use of cytotoxic agents may induce a multidrug resistance phenotype, which plays an important role in the sensitivity of tumoral cells to drugs.
