To elucidate the genetic events which may play important roles in hepatocarcinogenesis, we examined every non-acrocentric chromosome arm of 22 hepatocellular carcinomas (HCCs) for loss of heterozygosity (LOH) using 68 highly polymorphic microsatellite markers.
