Maternal-specific loss of heterozygosity (LOH) and allelic imbalances [i.e., partial LOH (pLOH)] observed in SV40 T/t antigen-induced liver tumors suggests that an imprinted gene on chromosome 7 is involved in liver tumorigenesis.
