We expressed the Gly203-->Thr (G203T) mutant of Gi2alpha, which was expected to show a dominant-negative phenotype in Gi2-mediated signal transduction, in baculovirus-inefected Sf9 cells and purified the mutant alpha subunit for its characterization.
