A complementary DNA (cDNA) clone encoding the neurotensin receptor was isolated from a human substantia nigra cDNA library. The deduced amino acid sequence of this clone was almost identical to that of a cDNA for this receptor cloned from a previously described HT29 human colonic adenocarcinoma cell line.
