We have screened for mutations of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae RAD52 gene which confer a temperature-sensitive (ts) phenotype with respect to either the repair of DNA lesions caused by methyl methanesulfonate (MMS) or the recombination of an intrachromosomal recombination reporter.
