DNA from 47 patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) was studied for immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor (TCR) gene rearrangements with Southern blot hybridization. In 83% of the cases the genotypic changes were consistent with immunophenotypic and morphologic examination.
