Hyperglycaemia is an independent risk factor for pancreatic cancer (PC). Here, we show that both chronic and intermittent high glucose cause a robust upregulation of the novel lncRNA LINC00538 (YIYA) in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) cells.
