Ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma (HGSC) is characterized by pervasive genomic instability and high inter- and intra-tumor heterogeneity. Approximately half of HGSC tumors harbor homologous recombination deficiency (HRD), rendering them vulnerable to PARP inhibitors and platinum-based chemotherapy.
