The small Rho GTP-binding proteins are important cell morphology, function, and apoptosis regulators. Unlike other Rho proteins, RhoB can be subjected to either geranylgeranylation (RhoB-GG) or farnesylation (RhoB-F), making that the only target of the farnesyltransferase inhibitor (FTI).
