Cytoplasmic protein tyrosine phosphatase nonreceptor type 11 (PTPN11) and Drosophila homolog Corkscrew (Csw) regulate the mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) pathway via a conserved autoinhibitory mechanism.
